PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Partners / partnership: In the following text, “partner” / “partnership” designate partner institutions / organisations participating in SBFOODINNO and likely to collect data within the framework of the project, namely University College Absalon (DK), Lund University (SE), Rostock University (DE), Aarhus University (DK), Zealand Academy of Technologies and Business (DK), Swedish University of Agricultural Science (SE) and University of Copenhagen (DK).
The SBFOODINNO project partners carefully treat all data collected as confidential and strictly use it under the framework of SBFOODINNO project activities in compliance with the EU legal regulations.
All data collected and managed under the activities of the SBFOODINNO project, newsletter subscribers, event registrations, surveys of any kind, is in strict compliance with the new Regulation (EU) 2016/679, General Data Protection Regulation.
Data controllers – data processors – data Protection Officers: The information is handled in the project by common data responsibility.
WHO IS CONCERNED BY THIS NOTICE?
This notice is addressed to the following public:
• All partners participating in the SBFOODINNO project;
• respondents to surveys;
• registered participants in events;
• newsletter subscribers of any outsourced database application.
FOR WHAT PURPOSES DOES THE SBFOODINNO PROJECT STORE YOUR DATA?
Project partners collect data to perform their legal obligations as an EU co-funded project.
The scope of the data collected is the minimum necessary for each purpose, avoiding as much as possible personal information. However, no personal information is collected without the knowledge and consent of the target audience.
The information is collected and processed with the sole purpose of implementing SBFOODINNO project activities.
The data collected within the framework of the SBFOODINNO project will be retained by the project partners up to six months after the SBFOODINNO project has ended. The project has a current estimated timeline of June 1st 2017 to June 30th 2020.
Once the retention period has passed, the SBFOODINNO project partners, potential sub-contractors / external providers will take adequate measures to delete all personal data collected within the project.
No data will be shared with third parties outside the project, other than the external providers or used for unintended purposes without the express consent and prior notification to the interested individuals.
WHAT ARE YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AS DATA SUBJECT?
You have the right to request that your data be deleted. In addition you have the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to restriction of processing. WHAT TYPE OF DATA IS COLLECTED AND HOW?
The project partners store data of different types and in several ways:
• E-mail, postal and telephone contacts;
• Newsletters subscription;
• Event registrations;
• Contact forms;
• Data collected through the SBFOODINNO web site and other outsourced applications Eventbrite.com, Mailchimp.com
By making use of the SBFOODINNO website, providing information in connection with the receipt of newsletters, participation in events, participation in interviews, etc. you give SBFOODINNO your consent to the collection and use of this information.
The lawfulness of the processing is based on the General Data Protection Regulation article 6, 1 litra b, e.
When you participate in the interviews, we assure you, that everything, that is being said will be synonymized and be deleted as fast as a general resume is made.
When you sign up for SBFOODINNO events, you agree that images, films and participants lists, where you appear, will be made publicly available on projects homepage http://sbfoodinno.eu/ and that we will contact you in connection with other events that we believe may be relevant to you. If you do not want this, please inform SBFOODINNO by contacting email@example.com. If you do not wish to receive the newsletter, you must send e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
